Does anyone have any photos or resources on the '69 Dodge Swinger 340 concept car?
I have been looking for more information a can't find much...

Hall's did the restoration for SJ and some pics are shown below.

Looks like standard A-body panels with grafted narrowed tail sheet metal from a Charger. Looks like the fuel filler cap area has also been modified to accept the Charger flip-top fuel filler cap.
Any other mods?
Don't think I've ever been aware of this concept car before.

That car was in an ad back in the day. There were 2 girls in the ad. I believe they were leaning on the hood. The text for the ad sounded like the writer was high when he wrote it. :hippy2:
IIRC, the magazine article stated the quarters and deck lid spoiler were made of lead. It said the trunk lid was so heavy they would never open it again for fear of warping the quarter panels. :wack: The front end looked nice with rectangular headlights.

I had the original add on my old computer but it crashed and is lost forever, I haven't been able to locate anything else on it since- believe me I've looked!!

got any pics of the original concept car?

Only in a book I have of Chrysler Concepts.
It used a front bumper from another a-body on the rear and had many different mods. all around. The hood and look-alike blower was amazing.
It used Ansen Sprint aluminum slots. I am trying to get the owner to send pics but he is kinda possesive almost with that kind of thing...I dont blame him though. Most all of his cars are the rarest in the mopar world.

Is this it???

Fear half looks quite simular to the car your building and it has the blower you mentioned.

That's a really wild front end...........

We used the single rectangulars a LOT in custom van fabrications.......even used them on my 64 Cheby panel...........

Takes me back to look at it...............(doze was da' daze.......) 8)

Looks to be almost certainly chopped, also I really like the door handle treatment, but I can't help looking at that grill... screams American Motors Rebel to me.

God you make me feel old with the pictures!!!

It was way out back then with the Euro headlights and all. The only bad part was the J.C. Whitney hood scoop.

Anybody else notice the 69 Coronet wagon and the fact that the Dart has no vent windows?

Probably made it easier to chop the top. Notice the side windows aren't rolled up either?? I bet they aren't even there.
Looks like a quick and nasty customization for the car show circuit.
The front end looks like an Australian or Brazilizn Dart front end with those rectangular headlights.
