The rear will fit, I gave a "friend" the 8 1/4 from my aspen, to put in his dart, it worked but wasn't the best solution. The '68 b body 8 3/4 fits great and with e-body xhd rear leafs the iso crap is gone. Like I said before these cars can handle great! I love my '77 aspen r/t clone and since it was my first mopar I think it is my favorite. When I got the car I hated it but it was a plan jane '78 se, after 18k it is a amazing car and I am excited for paint. The F bodies also are a looker and when I was driving it I would get more complements then I do in my '68 Newport. A lot of chevy guys would ask what year nova and I would smile and say its a mopar.:cheers::thebirdm:
A few of my R/T before I sent it off to body jail, 2 years. I was one of the first to put a cowl induction on an F body and now I have seen a few others.
