John, do yourself a favor, while the heads are getting worked..Get the right springs for the cam you are choosing. What I mean is, choose a cam after the chambers are cc'd, but dont have them finish assembled until you have the cam you want, then have the same manufacturer supply springs, and your head guy set them up properly. That's how it should have happend, although many guys put springs on the heads, then choose a cam saying "they are good for .500 lift, so they will work fine..." That leads to problems down the road, when the aggressive cam profile trashes the springs, or the retainers hit, or the engine valve floats in the middle of its power band.
