everybody knows ive been having problems going over 6200...well,ive tried a few things and still NO!!!!...so,i was wondering if any of you had a good used SB dist i could try??

Mike I still have the mopar perf magnetic pickup one with the welded weights And Orange box that I have had to 6400rpm with no problem.
 
He has a MSD box.

Mike I still have that distributor. I'll try to send it out this weekend if you still want to try it.
 
I had a similar problem with mine. Wouldn't go over 4500. Felt and sounded like I had 4500 rpm chips in it.
Ended up being a wiring problem to the MSD box. Rewired it with heavier wire, soldiered and shrink tubed everthing. Now she'll go as high as I want
 
i just bought a used MSD BILLET dist and should get it next week...i rewired my MSD cuz i had it wired to the alt and i wired it to the starter relay and NO CHANGE!!! :sad3:
im just gonna replace EVERYTHING!!!
 
You may want to consider calling someone who knows Mopar ignition and discussing your issues before you just throw money at it and hope it fixes itself.
