Relay and Regulator advice

Maybe your original is an aftermarket and that's why it's chrome. I've only seen Mopar performance ones.

If it's only charging 14.2-14.4 you should be fine. The half hour ride would be a good test. If it's much over 14.6 when you get back your on the edge. Batteries are different though. Some will take more and some start boiling anything over 14.5

I don't doubt that, but I'm sure it was put on back in the late 70's -- early 80's, so the memory is a little fuzzy .. Funny, the blue one is identical in shape, and like the chrome one, only two of the three mounting holes are useable. We'll see what happens..
