New Project /6 4-speed :)

Ok so the dude was late getting done from a job last night but I should be getting it tonight...we'll see.. :(
Grinder, Do you know what the rear gear was on your car? Mine should be a 2.76, so based on this:
http://www.slantsix.org/articles/4-speeds/ODA833fourspeed1.htm
and this:
http://www.slantsix.org/articles/4-speeds/applications/options.htm
3.09x2.76 would give me a 8.528 start-off ratio

From this article:
http://www.carcraft.com/newlook/crc_act/116_0302_trans/index1.html
I get 2.45 (first gear from a 904) x 2.76 ( rear gear ) gives me a 6.762 start-off ratio.

That would mean that the engine would have to turn almost 2 more times to get the wheels to spin the same distance in 1st after the swap to the 4-speed.

At this point I'm more worried about mileage for the daily driver. ( I have a turbo floating around for the speed upgrade later on)

This is definitely not a "buy it this week and install it this weekend" type thing. I have lots things to think about and gotchas to overcome. One being the tail length.

But for the price..(I'm not tellin' ;) ). I'll buy it and maybe trade it for a short tail later on while I'm looking for the rest of the puzzle pieces.
