Why Are Edelbrock Cams Unpopular

When I first seen the "Power Package" I laughed a bit, but thought it a good isea. Like mentioned above, the cam specs are similar across the board. Slow ramp speed and not alot of lift for the head they have, which had me wondering why wouldn't you at least try and take advantage of the heads air flow capabiltys?

I thought I'd see a stouter cam. Fatser ramp rates and higher lifts.

There cams are not bad cams, theres just so much better out there for the MoPars it's almost crazy. In general, you can not complain about having a whole package deal from one place with dyno results proving there worth.

Now if you build a short block just like they did and used there parts exactly, not for nothin, but a 417hp 340 is a nice set up.

I'd like to see the results of a 360 built and dyno'd with there parts because that is the engine of choice by many due to it's availibilty and cost.
I'd also like to see it for the 318 as well.

And there Performaer chart is torque only. That's sad if you ask me. Again, I'd like to see the HP curve as well for both the 318 & 360 for the performer line up.
