You might get away with an HEI style 14" air cleaner base. They are moved forward about 1-2 inches to clear the large HEI distributor on sbc's. They sell just the bases as a kit too. Then you get the offset air cleaner stud as well.
The actual problem is height. If I could use a 2" element there would be no problem but the EFI system I have uses a mass air flow sensor that mounts on the throttle body and it needs 1-1/2" of clearance between the sensor elements and the top of the air cleaner so I am using a 3" element. SUCKS!!! Had all of this planned out until right at the end and the air cleaner issue is holding up the works.
