x and h pipes

Mull, you got me. But I do recall one test where they were playing with smaller front pipes to keep the power up over big tube. I think it was Borla but it was in a magazine I think.

So many things have an affect that it is fair to say that you can select from the state-of-the art mufflers, pick the one with the best sound, and you will be happy. We were always looking for the quietest, highest flowing, highest performance ones in our tests so four or five HP either way did make differences. I guess our mission has always been somewhat different than many hot rodders.

72, that is very clever thing to say and I have to admit, it is an honor to hear it. However, there are much smarter folks out there in the business but we were lucky enough to have been able to run all the tests we did, make an awesome CD of their sounds, and then give away all the mufflers after we were finished with them. That was lots of fun.

Thank you for the comments.
