TTI/Eddy Sealing Problems?

I called TTI and they say the sealing is "marginal" on eddie heads to begin with. My heads were port matched to the FelPro gasket but head porter informed me the ports were not opened up beyond Edelbrock specs. What can happen is you can get unlucky and the bead on the "marginal" header just happens to be thinner then the next header rolling off the line.

So what I did was have a welder add a bead to my headers in the "marginal" area. I have run the engine and pulled the header to check sealing and its now sealing like a champ!!

Also, the TTI header hangs into the port on the end cylinders. While this does restrict flow its not that big a deal being its on the lower side of the port.

Now the million dollar question is, do the Dougs have this issue??
