Untouched 273
I had one in the early seventies. It was a 1964 model that I bought when the car had about 82,000 miles. As I recall, it had steel shim type head & intake gaskets, with cork on the intake ends. It also had cork valve cover gaskets but they might have been changed because the engine had solid lifters so the covers had to come off once in a while. I think cork was the original type material though. I think it also had cork oil pan gaskets with some type of rubber ends. Don't think the pan had ever been off but it did show signs of being patched by brazing. Pretty sure it was done in the car. I think it had paper water pump, fuel pump, & front cover gaskets. Exhaust gaskets were steel shim & the left side had the heat shields for the plug wires.
