Not sure which bracket you're talking about. PO had a thing for painting things silver, so I suppose what ever it is would be painted silver.
The ignition wiring should have ferules to go through the slots in the appliques on the valve covers like the ones on the Hemis. Later models used a plastic piece that stuck on a tab on the valve cover that did the same thing.
