Gasoline Price Increase

I was just wondering, in order to put this into perspective. Here in Ontario, Canada the price of gasoline at the pumps has increased on average by 35% this week since Monday. I was wondering to feed my curiosity; how much an increase in pump prices have people in other parts experienced? Please, lets let other forum members be educated.
