Cost to Sandblast a K-member

We have one equipment rental shop I could check with, but I'm pretty sure they don't have a sandblaster, but they might could do a compressor. I'm itching to buy a big compressor, but it just isn't in the budget right now. For $500 you can get a pretty decent one that'll push about 14 cfm. I wish I'd kept the old watering trough heater from the farm.. I could heat the water in the tub where I've been electrolyzing the k-member, and then fab up a beater for the drill, and have a makeshift washing machine. I know there is someone out there who's thinking.. "why go through all the trouble? Just spend the cash and have it done." That's probably right, but if I can stumble on a good way of getting THIS clean and rust free, every other part of the car that needs cleaned will be a piece of cake. What's funny about this whole deal is that you have this k-member sitting in a solution of what is basically Oxy-clean, and it is only softening the grease, not removing it. what I really need is a big honkin steam-genie with about 3000 psi water pressure. I know where I can use one, but its a piece of junk, don't know if the kerosene burner still works in it, or if it has a nozzle on it. Ah well... I'll think of something, I always do.
