Date coding for 4 speed??

My friend picked up a '73 340-4speed Roadrunner & is trying to decode...he has no VIN on the tranny pad but the part # PP 833 4323
Anyone know what 4323 decodes to for a date?
I'm guessing this is a warranty tranny but just want to check on the date...thanks!
