30 years between runs

My 340 RUN In PURE Stock with the ONLY Exception was I had to change the Tires And Headers For Manifolds...

SS

Well stock, except the motor has been apart, bored, rods worked, different pistons, crank probably worked a little, heads shaved with new valves and valve job, probably valve springs and rockers too. Oh and single plane manifold and carb.

Oh and a .590 lift Purple camshaft.

Maybe this one?

It's got 265* of duration at .050!!

So, your 340 is pure stock except for all that stuff.

My NMRA Pure Street class car, had a similar set of engine mods, but I wouldn't ever tell anyone it was mostly stock.

The ten second street cars I'm talking about have heat, full interiors, sometimes AC, run on 93 pump gas, power brakes, stock suspensions (meaning stock style suspensions with bolt on parts), small blocks, max tire 26*10" ET Drag. Maybe a fiberglass hood here and there.

Sadly, none of them are Mopars. They're either 5.0 Mustangs or LS engine GM stuff.

Fuel injection and forced induction are wonderful things, unless you're in the other lane.
