440 vs 383

Ya beat me to some of the answers.LOL. The 915's were supposedly 73.5cc chambers but, and this is important, the first version of the 915's had the small exhaust valves installed 1.60" and would benefit having the 1.74" valves installed as was the norm for most BB heads after 1967. Also while the valves are out have hardened exhaust seats installed for the unleaded fuel of today. Personally I'm a little happier putting the 383 into an A body cuss it doesn't take up as much room and power steering ain't a problem with Schumacher headers but they are expensive.
