converting it is 4 speed

so we put the engine and tranny all in today. i think i maght be missing something for the clutch fork tho. dose the fork pivot on the bell housing itself? or is there something that bolts to the inside of the housing that sticks up and it pivots on that? we hooked it up and the clutch is missing something or way outta adjustment and we tried it as far both ways as we could go still nothing
