Dash Pad. After Market or Have Restored?

Well, I talked to a salesman at one of the best known, most respected Mopar interior supply houses and he said that he would not even sell me one of there after market dash pads because of their poor quality. He strongly recomended Just Dashes. I was really supprised by his honesty. So I guess I will save a little longer and ship it to Just Dashes. Thanks for the replies, Warren

Well all the negatives I have been reading about dash caps I thought I would experiment with one on my 1969 Barracuda (just to say I tried one).The cap cost me a total of $62.99 from Robert Burgess and I tell you the fit and texture were perfect.All you have to do is take your time and prep the surfaces well,test fit and lock her down for drying.I repaired the crack first with Sonic Bond (Great Stuff).I think the finished product looked excellent and I would recommend this cap for an A body to anyone as long as you take your time and install it correctly and they can be color dyed.:cheers:
