Intake's almost done

The carbs are from an 80-something 1.8L Ford Escort...and my truck...well, seems that somehow it experienced what's called a 'catastrophic failure'. It's gonna take a a rebuilt transmission(around $1800 or so) to get me back on the road, which I certainly hope happens tomorrow afternoon at the latest. Because the idea of being stuck in my hotel AND sober for the whole weekend seems really depressing.
