I'd also use the one with more duration. The Hughes would be super torquey, but not that much rpm. I have the Hughes 2832 ( 228/ 232 @50) in my 66 coronet with 3.23 gears and a stock 383 converter and its just right. I could have gone with a size bigger cam, it has tons of low end torque and response as is.
