You won't be he only one running around with hoses instead of the hard lines. Pressure ain't the issue here as you probably already know. Double hose clamps (don't cut into the hose) and route and secure carefully away from any abrasive points. I would not do this on a daily driver - but assuming yours is not and won't see a whole lot of road time - you should be good. I used the real deal hydraulic line on a car once, darn near tough as steel, but I know what you mean abound bening lines - hat it. Also if you'll be at the track - NHRA events won't allow the hoses, has to be steel or braided. Do it and go, change it out when your in the mood or wanna pay fer it to be done right.
