225 slant six vs 318?

I have 2 65 Barracudas,one with a 318 4 speed 323 rear and one with a 225 slant 6 ,4 speed,323 rear. I like the v8 car but I love the 6 cyl one. It is just so much fun to drive.I have to use the gear box more and in a different way to get it down the road and this is what driving is all about for me.If you want a stop light to stoplight fast car then the 8 cyl is the way to go if you want to get on some back roads and have some fun with the shifter then the 6 is the one. I'm building my 65 valiant wagon with a 170 slant and a 4 speed to get that same fun out of the gearbox and 23 mpg or better.Not to put down the v8 cars but if you plan on driving lots you really need to consider the price of fuel in all your decisions .It ain't gonna get cheaper as time goes on !
