No MoPar now, but maybe...
Well, I jumped in the Pool. Saturday was my Birthday (49!) and I put a deposit on a '74 Dart Swinger.
The good:
Body is solid and mostly straight. The car runs, drives and stops (I test drove it). It's RED (and next to red, I like RED best). It has discs up front and is a 318 V-8/Auto. It has new dual exhaust.
The Bad:
The driver's front fender has a parking lot dent, and the right side has a little rust under the lower rear corner of the vinyl top. I expect there is a little other rust hiding under the vinyl top, and the top itself is shot. The interior is filthy, the seat (bench) is broken down with (I suspect) broken springs. The carpet is trashed and wet, although the floor looks surprisingly good.
The Ugly:
The Center-Line like wheels (could be CL's) don't fit, front and rear are tires are hitting the fenders in anything more than a smooth straight drive. It has a "repo" title, and the owner is going to DMV with me on Monday; if I can't get a clear Washington title, I'll walk away.
