What is your horsepower level Diego? .040 is allot to take off the rods but Chevy rods are .125 smaller to begin with and they hold up pretty well. I would think you'll be ok if not over 450 hp. Just my opinion.

BTW: Welcome to the board. Your Charger sounds like it runs good. What 1/4 mile times do you run?

Dear Fishy68,

My horsepower level is between 410 and 430 hps. The car has constantly 12.8s in quarter mile with radial tires.

Engine Configuration:

KB Hypereutetic Pistons
OEM Connecting rods with ARP Screews
Mopar Performance Purple Camshaft 296/296 Mechanical
Cylinder heads is a mopar 915 J heads 2.02, 1.60 with 58cc chambem combustion
Compression ratio 11,1:1
Intake Manifold is a Torker II
Carburator is Mighty Demon 750
Oil Pump is a Meiling High-Volume
