Crank center line in '66 Cuda help needed
When I made the motor mounts to drop a BB in my 66, I bolted the trans in. Then, with the car level, I dropped a plum line from the pinion yoke to the ground, from the trans tailshaft to the ground and from the front of the motor (c@ crank centerline) to the ground. I moved the motor over until all three plum lines were in perfect alignment (checked with another string line).
The ending measurement ended up being 1 1/4 to the pass side, which coincidentally was the pinion offset of my Dana 60.
