OH, THE HUMANITY!!!

I love the L-88 cowl hoods on Camaros and other cowls on Chevys, but not on a Mopar. That's what's great about this hobby though...do as you please and pleasing everyone else is not a priority!!

Yeah but the hood pictured is really NOTHING like a chevy hood. Its tapered, has a different end to it and its smooth with no ridge. I LOVE IT!

i like mine just cant prove it gets enuff air??

They look ok on some mopars, but not many. I think they look odd for the most part. Seems to go against the lines or something?

I do prefer the 6 packs!

On 70 and up Darts, I like them. On just about any other Mopar, no WAY! Especially not on the 2nd gen Barracudas. The chrome inserts on the hoods of those cars are one of my favorite features!

Well if its not too late... i have a Charger and i personally dont like the cowl hoods... and the 6-packs are overdone... so im thinking of grafting on either a powerbuldge hood scoop from a 71 Charger or a hood scoop from a 1970 Superbee.... only seen it once and it looked alright

I think they look ok on 70 and up darts. And they don't look too bad on duster's and demons either. But they look ugly as sin on 2nd gen barracudas and B/E-bodies.But again that's just my opinion.

BTW:If any of you guys with 67-68 barracudas have a ss/aa hood and are wanting to get a cowl.I would be willing to take your old hood off your hands.Just thought i'd throw that in there.

This is just my opinion but, with all the cool hood scoops that was given to us by mother mopar....why would you want a chevy style scoop. A bodies look good with max wedge style scoops, ramcharger scoops, six pack scoop, and of course the double opening scoop from the duster and demon. In the past I have extented the hieght of a hood scoop for air cleaner clearence, done right, the modifications could be nearly imposible to detect. I raised a duel opening scoop 3 inches to gain clearence for a hi-rise and a Holley, and no one was the wiser.

I'd have to stack two of them on top of each other to work with my tunnel ram
