Crankshaft pulley cross overs?

The factory A/C drive pulley is bolted to the rear of the damper. Most aftermarket A/C compressor mount kits, have a pulley that bolts to the front of the damper. The problem is, with the front mounted pulley the compressor is mounted so far forward, the fan will hit the compressor clutch. They tell you to space the fan forward, but most of our slant six cars do not have enough clearence to the fan to add a thich enough spacer.
The compressor mount I have available, uses the OEM factory drive pulley on the rear of the damper, and does not have compressor/fan/radiator clearence problems. It does require more work to install the drive pulley. The compressor and mount will also work with a Offie manifold, and Clifford headers. I am pretty sure it will fit with other headers, and a Clifford manifold, but did not have them available for a test fit.
