I had some domed decals made for my 340. Seems everyone looks at th engine ans ask "What size motor is it?"

Well when the hood is open you do not see the 340 emblems on the hood, so I took a picture of the hood emblems and had these made.

What do you think?

I wanted it to look like the hood emblem except round, I think we got it.

That looks GREAT! Excellent idea!! Really a nice finishing touch and the best thing is it looks like it belongs there. Well done!

I just mentioned to my wife that she could make me a set at work. Her first question was "does it get hot"? Vinyl may melt/wrinkle. I don't know what the heat tolerance is. Let us know how it holds up because I like it.

man that is sweet, is the valve covers painted or powder coated?

Valve covers are painted, and yes I wounder how they will hold up.

I started with another decal, had no problems with it and was actually hard to get off.
