What was your first car?

Mine was a '61 Chevy Impala, 2 door coupe w/ a 283 4 bbl and an automatic transmission w/ a grade retarder .. P R N D Gr .. It was lower than low 1 in a three speed AT, and chirped 2nd gear .. I paid $125 for it in 1972 when I was 15, drove it for about a year once I got my license, tranny went and my Dad junked it on me .. I was pretty pissed when I came home from school that day and guilted him soon after into lending me $$$ to buy my first Mopar, a '71 Duster 340-4 speed... in-violet metallic with a white stripe.. Wish I still had that one ...
