Eddy airgap intakes?

I put an air gap on my 340, to replace a single plane Wieand. It's good, but if I already had a good dual plane I wouldn't go out and buy an air gap. On my 69 B'cuda, hood clearance was tight with the air gap and a holley. I had to go low-pro air cleaner.
