Torque Converter! Opinions Please!!!

I've been researching converters for a while now as my car needs one pretty bad. What I've gathered is, "you get what you pay for" of course. I looked at the ACC boss hog for a while then talked to a few people about it. One guy was happy the other guys said it's a fine converter if you want to buy another one in two years, not good for me. I looked at BTE they seem alright, Neil Chance does good quality converters. I've heard A LOT of good and bad about TCI and when there's bad they apparently do a poor job of dealing with it. The converter I've chosen is a Coan 10" 3000-3500 stall part no. 40312, give them a call and talk to Craig, he's a Mopar guy and is very knowlegable the number is 765-456-3957. Don't be afraid to ask him about other companies. Of all the people I know with Coan converters none of them have had problems, some switched from other converter companies. Make sure you take into account your altitude above sea level, it affects stall speed. I'm sure others will agree and disagree with what I've said but give Coan a shot they make a lot of high quality converters for anything from a street cruiser to a full on dragster. Good Luck
