MASS backing is an extra you can get now. It is a very heavy rubber coating they put on the bottom of the carpet to help get rid of noise, it makes it very hard to form.
As for the ABS headliner it should not have any wrinkles unless the fabric has separsted from the ABS if that happend I would send it back.
