I am shortly going to start building my engine. I am keeping it a 318 and that has apparently limited my poston choice to KB167 Flat-top and KB399 Domed. I will be running my 302 casting heads with the closed chambers....
Will the 399 work with this setup or does a domed piston need an open chamber. I would rather run a domed piston for the extra compression than have to machine the block and heads.​
