Comp Cams Xtreme Energy

The ramps Comp uses can be noisey, but many problems are more related to setup. Lifter preload needs to be right, and things like aluminum heads and the tall and thin valve covers on mopars can make the noises more prominent anyway. I've heard of guys having it perfect, and still having some noise, so the best you can do is get it all right, and it may quiet down. Also, any roller style rockers, add noises, and at certain rpms and loads, sound very similar to a lifter tick. They arent bad, just part of the "magic"...
