One more thing I just noticed- you don't have nearly enough spring pressure! You say you have 120 closed which is fine, but you only have 270 open?!- the cam calls for at least 340 open. I wouldn't feel bad about running even a little more than that. Are you sure that the springs will take that much lift? you might be having a coil-bind problem or a valve float- both of which will make an odd sound, just a thought- or maybe it because your upside down in Australia and that cam is a right side up cam not an upside down one-j/k :drinkers:
