Ever Seen This Before?
So I pulled the 727 out of the Dart the other day, it had a noise coming from the tranny bellhousing, mechanic friend of mine said he was sure it was that the stock flex plate had been used and the engine was making too much power for it (360 makinf approx 380hp). When I looked at the torque converter and flex plate, I was a bit shocked to see how the weight had been welded on. Can any confirm that this is the right or wrong way to do this, I suspect it is wrong as they had to grind into the flex plate to make it fit.
