help me identify these 4 speeds!

Don't use the B-body in an A-body. Just trade it for an A-body. The B-body guys can use this stuff. They will be happy to swap you, and you'll get a much easier install. Did I say MUCH easier install.
Also there was no HD 23 spline. There is a 23 spline, and an OD. Any A-body 4-speed you get will be plenty heavy duty unless you go racing. Then I'd forget the 23 spline and go Hemi.

Im going by the tech pages on bigblock dart which say that 23 spline trannies came with a 4.8 input bearing retainer like hemi 18 splines and were thus heavy duty units...thats what the input bearing retainer on the first one i have measured in at (instead of the more common 4.335 i think it is), and its 23 spline so i would assume it is...I have thought about trading for an a-body unit, but im not sure yet what i will do...atleast i know now what it is

Your first tranny is a keeper. This is a 1970 unit built for a lynch road plant car, normally a B body car, most likely a road runner. The 0A157691 is the last digits of the VIN number of which the tranny was removed from. The PP is for a new process tranny,833 for a four speed unit. The 3014 is the day it was built on,Tuesday oct 14 1969,and its a 23 spline unit.
The second unit is a A body O/D unit built in mid dec 1975,and the 333366 is the last 6 digits on the VIN number.if you want to sell the second tranny email me back, mrmopartech

thanks for the info mrmopartech...for now im keeping the od, as i think my dad wants to use it in the future for a b-body cruiser car
