i honestly dont know.
i got lucky enough hearing a rumer they mite come to bakersfield and that night i looked and the registration was posted that day so i registered and they said i was accepted and everything.
I think from what the website said you have to race 2-3 races in bakersfield before the race to get a runner up spot or one of the spots someone lets go if they cancel in advance.
