Help with 727 trans 2 problems

The only difference in linkage from 904 to 727 would be in length, if there was a difference at all. There may also be a difference i nthe linkage from the /6 linkage to the V8 linkage. No matter what, the linkage should have enough travel to engage all positions easily.

THrottle pressure should be adjusted to meet the following:

AT closed throttle, the lever on the trans should be all the way forward. At WOT, the lever on the trans should be all the way back. BOTH conditions MUST be met to have proper throttle valve operation.

For safety, the throttle should be able to close even if the trans linkage jambs, thu the slotted and sprung upper rod on the factory linkage.
