8.75 Sure Grip Spline Alignment Help

I had this problem with my 489 case. I got the axle into the first set of splines then used a steel bar in between the studs to turn the axle and outer set of splines while pushig on the axle. I think i had the trans in park to keep the yoke from turning. Hope this helps you, it worked for me and I'm not that lucky of a guy with that stuff that could mean more work or money LOL
