Incompetence Rant

More than once I've said "if I wanted a crappy job, I would have done it myself" when I paid a "professional" to do something. I do most stuff myself now.

The first time you do something, it can take a long time, be frustrating, and sometimes isn't the best job. But the second time (and thereafter) usually goes fine.

I'm doing my first engine build, and my first car paint job right now. I'm sure you all will be seeing some posts for help.
