3.31:1 gears in 8 3/4 open end????

Let me guess 65 barracudadude, that 3:31 came in that early 8 3/4 you got with the keywayed drums, no? I had the same gear in my old 64 Belvedere before I changed out the housing for the later style without the keyed drums. Mine was in the 657 case, or whatever the number of the early case is. I'd say your other ratio is a 2:94 rather than a 3:23. Good luck with your project, Geof
