"Pinks" next racer

My engine builder has built a motor for a car runnng in "Pinks". The racers were here tongiht to pick it up. They said alot of companys gave them parts to get it goin. They are going to Arizona to race in 2 weeks. The show is going to air they thought maybe sometine in Feb. The rules have changed since last year. You will not be able to buy your car back. You snooze you loose.
 
Wow they are lucky I would love to build a motor for PINKS if cource it would have to win.
 
That has got to be the freaking dumbest thing I have ever seen. They're all just sandbagging. Its not dragracing, or street racing like they pretend it to be. Its almost closer to poker than real racing. What a waste of time on the speed chanel.

I'm not a fan either. Give me more of the "American Musclecar" series. These are interesting shows.....even the competition's episodes.

The point is his engine builder will get a plug on speed channel. I myself can not watch a full hr of the show like you all said it is a lot of BS.

My format you pick someone to race againest if they agree one shot winner takes the others car.
 
I kinda like the show.But they should use a tree!!!!I've seen that dumbass cost a couple of guys their cars cause he moved and said he didn't.Other than that i think it's a cool show.
 
They are goin to race on friday Jan. 13th. Just have to see if the rules of the show has changed.
 
yeah i get a kick out of the guy thats says i need 15 cars what a joke heads up or go home period :butthead:
 
well that shows better then what not to wear, but there is lots of bull#$%t going on. i mean spot someone 6 cars then lose yours?
 
Not a big fan of the show either, but I still watch it also.
I just can't deal with the sand bagging crap. I have never done
that racing any one in any of my cars.
I also heard from some people on that show that it is all
fake and no one loses their car it's all a gimmick. It's all good ,
I still watch it. I sure do miss "American Muscle Car ", that is
by far the best show and they ain't making any more.
Still, I am enjoying Speedvision, channel whatever the heck its
called much more because the cup racing is over. I like NASCAR,
but there getting to stupid, with 22 hrs. of NASCAR shows per day.
Some of those are a gigantic waste of time. I have to watch
Spike programs which I like but not on a lot.
2 shows I refuse to watch is that bozo Boyd Coddington circus
act show American Hot Rod, and I cannot handle American Chopper,
I don't watch soap operas, but the hot rod show is so stupid ,
it is funny. No wonder why Charlie the painter from Boyd's
went over to Foose's.
 
I am not a big fan but, I'm still curious to see what dumb *** would loose his car.

Someone I know painted a car that was filmed on Pinks in October at Atco NJ. I got to go along and check out the filming but ended up at the other end of the track spotting how many lengths they win with. It was interesting to say the least but I have to agree with most of you its still a bunch of crap spotting lengths and the "negotiations." Long story short it will air in February with the new series, I made some friends at the track, the guy I went with won and got the advertising he wanted for his speed shop. He had a green and gold fox body mustang with a 302 stuffed to the gills with NOS that they threw together for the show. He had some pretty dramatic launches with wheel stands that sprung the trunk. We were 2 up on them and the other guy had a 90 something Camaro that ended up throwing a rod on the start of the 3rd race so we won. On air he took the other car but about 2 hours later sold it back to him in the parking lot. I honestly watch the show just to check out the cars and the set ups. The negotiating and hand dropping is gay as hell I must admit.
 
I watch american muscle also, but did you ever notice when gm, amc, or ford are at the track they always show a mopar about 4 cars behind, what a joke. :wack: Pinks is better than nothing up north, when your duster is in an unheated garage :drinkers:
