Don't know about the gears but I would say throw it in neutral unless your worried about the rear and if thats the case then get a u-haul I'm getting one to tow a javelin about 11 hrs away and they are charging me 39$ +tax for 3 days hmmm hardly seems parking a trailer at that price.
