Another welcome from the Island .

So, how's Vermin these days?

Good to see someone else discovering the Madness that is Mopar :happy10:.

I guess that we're all gonna have to try and make it to a show this year and meet up.

Cheers,
Mark

salmon arm here. lots of mopar guys in the okanagan.

Hello and welcome from Lethbridge, Alberta.
I'm a B.C. boy originally from Cranbrook in the west kootenays. Still have 99% of my family and project cars there.
I had to move here for steady work, otherwise i'd still live there. I still go back to visit my cars! (and family) lol:-D
My avitar pic is taken at my property there.
Tom.

that makes 3 of us within 30 minutes of each other!:snakeman:

I think we should all get together for a brew one day when this snow storm stops!
PM me if you guys are interested.

By the way all my a-body stuff needs to go so lets get it out of here.

Welcome, Williams Lake,BC
Hi 69340. I sure like your car. Maybe it is because I have one exactly like it, same color too, in my basement being restored. It was my first car. Had it in high school. Still alive today, but don't know how. Sold it in 1982, found it and bought it back in 1996. It was in a basement not 10 miles from me and went through 5 different owners after I sold it. Restoration is going very slow mostly because of time available, so I bought a 68 GTS 340 4-speed car last fall. Just a driver but not a bad car at all. It was restored in 86 but doesn't look real bad yet. Still I'm anxious to get the Swinger done.

Hey everyone good to see a site with some people from canada! Tho WHats with everyone being in the East almost!! Well I'm a newbie With my first Mopar and she's a 71 Demon with a 360, 833 4spd and 8 3/4 Suregrip. In progress :D
Welcome Marko. I've only been here a few days myself. Talk about east. I'm in Nova Scotia. That's east. Doesn't seem to be a lot of guys from down here. Very nice though to see all the A-Bodies on this site and the information is great. Have fun.

A welcome to FABO from the maritimes. Great site we have here as you will notice.Dieppe New Brunswick
Hi Leblanc. I'm in Nova Scotia and I think your the only one I've seen on here yet that is closest to me. There is a lot of Mopars in NB,PEI & NS. You would think there would be more maritimers on here. I just bought a 68 GTS 340 car from Scoudoc,NB last fall. Maybe you know it. Green, white stripes, white bucket seat interior. Not a real bad old car. Have a good day.

anybody in the okanagan area have a hood for my demon?

Hey Chriss why don't you scoop that car from Junk yard Dog? Great car to rob a few pieces from and resell.

Ah the snow here is almost off the ground nother couple weeks and i'll be workin in the shop again :D

Go Canada and it's Canadian Mopar treasures.
Along with the early Darts, Valiants and Fargos - keep an eye out for the Swingers! 1971 and 1972 Swinger 340 Specials to be precise – built exclusively for Crosstown Motors, Edmonton (71's & '72's), Crestview Dodge, Regina, SK (71's) and Pembina Dodge, Winnipeg, MB ('72's). Rare as natural palm trees in Canada...

Cliff, are you loking for a 71? i MIGHT try to buy the one i know of, if i do i am going to flip it as there is other parts i want and not the car. (package deal)

Chrisf, I already have one (it's a '72 340 Special and I have a 70 340 4sp Swinger) but there are people looking. Is the car intact - what shape is it in? Would you be buying it for parts? What parts are you looking for? I see you're from the Vernon area and there is an EV2 Crosstown car somewhere there, maybe that's the one. Please let me know because I'd first like to verify it's existence then we can talk. Cool? Thanks man. Cliff
