Two Questions/Old School

hi, as one of the guys from back then , we used tow hubs, they bolted onto your rear axle then used a set of wheels made to fit with offset. the trans was in gear or parking brake set.at thetrack was no big deal to set up for racing. today, a tow dolly with car towed backwards would be a lot easier. I have seen guys do that before.
