Yeah, snake easier to see and identify; here in Florida, I got stung by a scorpion on the back of my neck- involved a doctor visit.

Do you know which species? Most likely a bark scorpion or striped scorpion. No fun at all either way. Not life-threatening but hurts enough to make you wish you were dead. I have never been tagged by one of mine but I know guys who have been.
