Dots at 6 and 12 but rotor not in right place.

Ford and GM manuals will show both dots at 12 o'clock position leaving you to strike an imaginary center line. Chrysler put the 2 dots together in the center so it can be done in the dark. LOL
Either way wont bend valves though. The distributer will be right or 1/2 round wrong if its driver was installed correctly.
