66 Power Dart Drag Package

It is not overly rough. Not a clean polished edge, but not like it was cut on a band saw. Some kind of machining is evident.
According to everything I have read about your car, could Spehar have trimmed it down for weight reduction? He supposedly cut all the bolts flush to the nuts...that is pretty aggressive regarding weight shaving.

Ted and the guys did a lot of lightening of the car. All the bolts in the front of the car are aluminum. The front y-shaped bumper brackets were cut down to a single angled piece. The brackets for holding the jack in the trunk as well as the spare tire were removed. All the carpet and headliner jute has been removed. Somewhere along the line the heater and wiper stuff was removed. The battery tray was cut down to fit the smallest battery made for Chrysler service. Lots of neat tricks. I have a picture of the spacer. I'll have to find it and post it.
